On April 6th, 2024, Saturday, we are having two exciting events. The first event is about Thirukkural & Athichudi recitation/competition.  The second event is about Literary evening by Dr.Gowri Ramnarayan.

Event 1 Details:  Thirukkural & Athichudi recitation / Competition

Date & Time: April 6th, 2024:  10:00am onwards

Groupings:

Mazhalai : 5 Years and below
Level 1:     6 Years to 8 years old    
Level 2:     9 Years to 12 years old
Level 3:   13 Years to 18 years old             

We have exciting prizes for the participants. $1 for every Thirukkural and/or $1 for 4 Athichudis

Event 2 Details: Tamil Literary evening facilitated by Dr. Gowri Ramnarayan

Dr.Gowri Ramnarayan is a well renowned journalist, Drama Director, Drama Script writer and a great singer. Dr.Gowri is the grand daughter of the renowned legend – Dr. Kalki Krishnamurthi – Author of “PONNIYIN SELVAN”.  Dr.Gowri is a recipient of special award from Mahindra for the Drama category and “Nadaga Soodamani” from Krishna Gana Sabha.

This event is proudly presented by the “Tamil Thinnai” team , which is the Literary development arm of Columbus Tamil Sangam. Please show up in big numbers to help invest in growing our literary presence in Columbus,OH.
